Crafting furniture

A steel garden chair inspired by the Greek letter ‘Π’

Collectively, the union of three elements creates an armchair, in which someone can sit and relax.
The key material is oxidized metal, which blends harmoniously with an outdoor environment, as the surface colour and texture adapt through time, affected by the air and the weather.
Stavropoulou Architects place great value on craft techniques. Frequently we design custom and bespoke furniture, especially for residential and hospitality projects.
We engage in experimental and conceptual design work, independently of specific projects, exploring structure and materiality. This steel chair is an example of this research work and has influenced our subsequent creative design work.
